1:00-4:00pm at the Dark Room Theater

In this one-of-a-kind class, the focus is exclusively on PERFORMANCE! Everything from tassel-twirling, to stage presence, to costume and makeup tips and tricks, to music selection...make sure to wear comfortable clothing for warm-ups, but be sure to bring the type of shoes you want to dance in, and some layers to remove! If you have a costume you're working up, so much the better, but make sure to bring a layer for warmth. The Dark Room has a concrete floor, with a wood floor stage and stage lights.

The fee for this 3 hour intensive, limited-enrollment workshop is $25-$20 sliding scale. If you are or have ever been part of Big Burlesque, please inquire about the "grandmother discount". As always, work exchange is available first come, first served. It is not required that you take the performance workshop before auditions, but it is strongly recommended. You MUST RSVPfor the workshop since I am limiting enrollment in order to provide participants with individual attention. If you wish to audition but don't take the workshop, you must register so that I can send you audition details.
